CFFC Director David Williamson will talk about the need for everyone to be engaged in activism for the Separation of State and Church and will report on the issues specifically facing Volusia County.

It may seem odd that an organization that seems exactly like a church would invite an atheist to offer a sermon. Not really. The UU has a reputation for being as freethinking as they come. In fact, many of our own members, followers, and fans are UU members and congregants around Central Florida.

Many UUs are called churches, but some are called societies and others called congregations. The bottom line is that anyone willing to team up with other organizations for the purpose of equality is one to call an ally.
